Overview
Independent Study in Quantum Computing
A self-directed study of quantum computing fundamentals, prepared as the technical basis for a guest lecture series at Detroit Country Day Upper School. The notes that follow cover no-cloning, quantum money, teleportation, and entanglement swapping, with an aside on quantum solipsism.
The writing is aimed at readers with cursory familiarity with quantum computing — roughly the level of an upper-division undergraduate physics or computer science student. The goal throughout is to make the reasoning behind each result clear, not just the result itself.
